Horse riding, pony, donkey and dog trekking
Just below the village is a riding school that also offers pony trekking trips into the nearby valleys.
From St Sorlin you can go donkey trekking, an activity where the donkeys carry your load and children, whilst you walk alongside. Various excursions are on offer, with picnics and even overnight stops in mountain refuges possible.
Similar treks are available using the husky sled teams, their winter sleds being replaced by summer ‘carts’.
