Although only a small village, there are a number of dining possibilities. Most restaurants offer the traditional Savoyard specialities - fondues, tartiflette and raclettes being the most common. Steak and chips and pizzas are also abundant with a few hotel restaurants offering somewhat finer dining.
It is advisable to book tables in the restaurants, especially at peak season and towards the end of the week - see
links for contact details.
Besides takeaway pizza options, some shops prepare all the ingredients and equipment for home pierrades, fondues and raclettes - if you wish to eat in without preparing a meal.
Of course the amply stocked local shops, delicatessen, butcher’s and baker’s mean eating in is always an option using our well equipped kitchens.
Don’t forget to sample the local wines - Savoie Mondeuses and Chignins go particularly well with the local cuisine.
